About Me
I’ve always loved telling stories. My favorite is the one where I sent the wrong letter to the right missionary. We were married the next summer. I attended LDS Business College where I earned an Associate’s in Computer Technology and Brigham Young University where I should have majored in English. I live in a small town nestled in the heart of the Appalachians. When I’m not busy writing, I can be found baking cookies, going to the movies, helping with the homework or catching fireflies with my handsome husband and four adorable children.

I had a short story published in an e-zine last year and got some great feedback on it. My mother? Really didn't like it. She found nice things to say about my writing because she's a good mum and all that, but it just wasn't her style or preferred genre. Everyone has different tastes.
But knowing that doesn't quite take the whole "ouch" out of the experience, does it?
Oh, I just looked. It was a guy who hated it. Big fat sigh. That explains everything.
Just keep writing!
I know, right? It's so much better to ignore all the bad stuff (says the girl who can't, ever).
My brother-in-law has had a few of his stories published and it took him quite a few tries before he found success but now he enjoys rubbing elbows with Orson Scott Card and the likes. Keep it up! And by the way, I want to read one of your stories!
Was it at LDSP's contest?
Funny-you misunderstood his comments. That was Th. and he voted for your story-he didn't dislike it at all.
.
It's true. I did vote for it. Just goes to show, I suppose.
